Rachel McAdams has signed on for the Wim Wenders’ drama Every Thing Will Be Fine.
The Hollywood Reporter says she will join James Franco, Charlotte Gainsbourg and Robert Naylor for the film which is already shooting in Montreal.
Franco stars as a man responsible for a boy’s death who channels his feelings into his writing career and as he becomes more and more successful finds it difficult to cope with his guilt rejecting his relationship with the boy’s mother and brother.
McAdams is set to play his girlfriend. The role was originally to be played by actress and director Sarah Polley.
McAdams will be seen on screens next month in About Time which also stars Irish actor Domhnall Gleeson.
