Girl group B*Witched are auctioning some of their denim outfits online to raise money for next month's Jeans for Genes Day charity event in the UK.

Jeans for Genes Day (September 20) "raises money for Genetic Disorders UK and aims to change the world for children with genetic disorders".

Singer Keavy Lynch has donated the outfit she wore to open the group's 1999 tour, while sister Edele has donated the jacket she wore in the video for number one single To You I Belong.

Bandmate Sinéad O'Carroll has donated the jacket she wore on the cover of B*Witched's debut album, while Lindsay Armaou has given away her Jesse Hold On outfit.

Keavy Lynch said: "I pulled out my tour stuff when eBay got in contact and I was like 'Oh my gosh, it still fits!"'

She added: "It was a little bit hard to choose. Part of me wanted to keep the really iconic pieces, and part of me wanted to do a really good job for Jeans for Genes. So it was a little bit sad to give away but I'm pleased to raise money."

The auction runs until August 11.
