The Irish Horse Welfare Trust is holding its annual Open Day this Sunday, July 28, at Woodenbridge, Ballinamona, Co Wicklow from 12:00pm to 4:00pm.
On the day visitors are promised "lots of family fun", with a raffle, bouncy castle, horsemanship techniques, displays and complimentary tea, coffee and light refreshments.
The Irish Horse Welfare Trust aims to "rescue, rehabilitate and rehome horses who have been abandoned, neglected or ill-treated" and is funded almost entirely through public donations.
