Party in the U.S.A singer Miley Cyrus admits she gets ''depressed'' watching romantic movies because she doesn't think chivalry seen on the big screen exists in real life.

The 20-year-old star, who is engaged to Hunger Games actor Liam Hemsworth, admits that she feels sad watching Leonardo DiCaprio in movies, because she feels the romance seen in his films does not exist in real life.

Speaking to BBC Radio 1, Cyrus said: ''Movies always make girls depressed like that. I can't watch Leonardo DiCaprio and not be depressed.

''I'm engaged to an actor, so I know it doesn't exist. No, it's more like, 'Hey babe, one of the dogs pooped on the floor.' ''

The former Hannah Montana actress further explained that she isn't one for public displays of affection, adding: '' I get really uncomfortable when people start making out in movies, especially when it's old people!''
