Comedy drama Run and Jump and Saoirse Ronan were among the winners at last night’s Galway Film Fleadh awards ceremony.
The annual ceremony took place before a screening of The Sea, an adaptation of the John Banville novel, and was attended by the President of Ireland, Michael D Higgins and actors Saoirse Ronan, Star Trek star Zachary Quinto, Fionnuala Flanagan and Run and Jump's Will Forte.
Run and Jump was directed by Oscar nominee Steph Green and stars SNL regular Forte, Maxine Peake, Edward MacLiam, and Sharon Horgan in the story of a young Irish family readjusting after the father has a stroke.
