Producer The-Dream has revealed that Jay Z took just two weeks to complete his latest album Magna Carta Holy Grail.
The-Dream was in the studio working with the hip-hop mogul’s wife Beyoncé and fellow producer Timbaland in 2011 when he composed a beat that would become Jay Z’s title track, Holy Grail.
The music inspired the hip-hop superstar so much, that The-Dream says he literally put the an album together in a matter of days.
In an interview with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs on Revolt.tv network The-Dream explained: "We wasn't even there to make a Jay album, we was there ***king with B (sic). He was just chilling. (He) heard that one ***king record and was like, ‘let's go.'
"And the ***t took off. It was literally, the body (of the album), two weeks. Two weeks of work, easily."
