Arrested Development star David Cross is developing a new TV comedy.
According to Deadline, the project will focus on a travel writer who has a number of families scattered across the US.
Cross will write and executive produce the sitcom, but is not expected to play the lead role.
However, if the script is picked up to series, he may play a supporting role on the show.
The 49-year-old's past credits include his own creations Mr Show and The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret, and a recurring role on hit sitcom Modern Family.
He recently reprised his role of Tobias Fünke on Netflix's revival of Arrested Development, which launched its 13-episode fourth season exclusively online on May 26.
