X Factor judge Gary Barlow is reported to have thrown some objects as part of a motivational exercise while judging the talent show.
The Sun reports that Barlow threw a chair across the room after a very poor performance from a wannabe rocker who was covering Robbie Williams’ hit Let Me Entertain You.
The singer was turned down but later Barlow gave him a chance to come back but only if he promised to crank up his performance. A source is reported as saying "The judges didn't like him at first because he claimed to be a rocker, but just didn't have anything wild about him."
"He came on, strummed his guitar and sang along, and then just faded out. They asked him back in and Gary told him he had to be more of a rocker if he wanted to get anywhere on the show.
"He then stood up and tried to tip the desk over shouting 'like this', but it was screwed to the ground. So he picked up a mug and smashed it, then grabbed his seat and sent it flying."
"He turned to this poor wannabe and said, 'I want to see some passion. Rock music is about passion and you aren't giving us any'. Everyone just looked at him with open jaws, not knowing whether to laugh or cry."
The hopeful has been invited back next month for a second chance.
