A 24-year-old woman died after collapsing at The Stone Roses' gig in Glasgow last Saturday, June 15th.
According to a report in The Guardian, paramedics attended the scene but she was pronounced dead at Glasgow Royal Infirmary. A post-mortem will be carried out to establish circumstances of the death.
Police do not suspect foul play but the show at 50,000-capacity Glasgow Green did not pass without incident and 24 concert goers were removed on anti-social and drug offences.
One Roses' fan was hit in the head when someone threw a glass bottle into the crowd. "There was blood everywhere," Alison Davidson told The Daily Record. "Security at the gig was absolutely shocking, no bags were being searched on the way in."
