Coronation Street star Brooke Vincent has denied claims that she had an argument with her co-star Michelle Keegan, while celebrating her birthday at the weekend.

Vincent, who was marking her 21st birthday in Manchester, was reported to have gotten into a row with the Sexiest Female in soap, after saying that her boyfriend, former TOWIE star Mark Wright, was ‘following her around like a lost puppy.’

However, both of the stars took to their social networking sites today to clear the air.

Brooke, who plays Sophie Webster on the popular show, wrote: "1st I've heard over this alleged "spat" "harsh words""fight" did you know about this @michkeegan ? Hahahahahahaha wtf!!

Keegan replied to the tweet, adding: "This is just proof of how papers write complete rubbish!! Don't let anything tarnish YOUR birthday! Such a good night B! @BrookeLVincent xxx"

Vincent's co-stars Kym Lomas, Helen Flanagan, Catherine Tyldesley and Antony Cotton also attended the party, which took place at Manchester's Great John Street Hotel.
