Cranston wins Best Actor in a Drama series for second year running

Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones shared the Best Drama Series award at the Critics' Choice Television Awards, which were held on Monday, June 10, 2013 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

It was one of three ties on the night, the others being Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series, which went to Kaley Cuoco (The Big Bang Theory) and Eden Sher (The Middle), while the Best Reality Series gong went to Duck Dynasty and Push Girls.

Bryan Cranston had his second consecutive win for Best Actor in a Drama Series for Breaking Bad, while Tatiana Maslany was a surprise winner for the Best Actress in a Drama series award for her role in Orphan Black, beating the likes of Claire Danes (Homeland) and Elisabeth Moss (Mad Men) for the honour.

Louis C.K. won for Best Actor in a Comedy Series for FX's Louie, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus won for Best Actress in a Comedy Series for HBO's Veep.

The Big Bang Theory won the award for Best Comedy Series, and its stars Kaley Cuoco and Simon Helberg also scooped acting prizes.

HBO's Liberace biopic Behind the Candelabra scooped the award for Best Movie or Mini-Series, and its star Michael Douglas was honoured with the Best Actor in a Movie or Mini-Series award, beating nominees including his co-star Matt Damon, Al Pacino (Phil Spector) and Toby Jones (The Girl).

Elisabeth Moss won the Best Actress in a Movie or Mini-Series for her role in Top of the Lake.

Zachary Quinto and Sarah Paulson picked up the Best Supporting Actor and Actress in a Movie or Miniseries for their work in American Horror Story: Asylum.

Sarah Paulson won the Best Supporting Actress in a Movie or Miniseries for American Horror Story: Asylum

Her co-star Zachary Quinto was also honoured with an award for the FX show
