Actress Celia Imrie is penning her first work of fiction.
The 60-year-old actress, who released her autobiography, The Happy Hoofer, in 2011, has said that she's "very excited" about writing her first novel.
Speaking to The One Show, Imrie said: "I'm writing my first novel, set in the south of France, which I'm very excited about. I'm halfway through it now. It's English people who go to live in the south of France thinking they're going to have a sort of new life, which isn't necessarily (the case)."
Celia further explained that she can't wait to visit France, adding: "It's a terribly good excuse to go over there. I chose it on purpose!"
