Teenage actress Abigail Breslin is set to star in a new thriller called Peste.
The casting was announced at Cannes with the film set to be directed by Mark Ponderai (House at the End of the Street) and produced by Sheryll Clark. The Hollywood Reporter says production is set to begin in September.
Peste is based on a screenplay by Barbara Marshall and tells the story of a contagious virus which sweeps its way through a small town.
