After three months of rest since undergoing hip surgery Lady Gaga made a surprise return to the stage over the weekend.
The Born This Way hitmaker had emergency surgery on February 20 to fix a hip injury, which forced her to cancel all remaining dates on her current tour. Lady Gaga was forced to spend weeks in a wheelchair while she recovered.
However, over the last couple of week the superstar has been spotted on her feet and wearing high-heels, prompting speculation that she was back in her full health.
She confirmed the news this weekend when she joined her friend, jazz musician Brian Newman, during his regular gig at New York’s Gramercy Park Hotel's Rose Bar and sang George Gershwin's anthem Someone to Watch Over Me to the surprised crowd.
After the show, Newman took to his Twitter and wrote: "Thanks to the 1&only @ladygaga for coming out to @GPHhotel tonight."
