It's a sentence we thought we would never say, but Ne-Yo has confirmed that he has recorded a duet with Celine Dion!
The Closer singer, who played Dublin’s O2 earlier this week, said he had a "surreal" time in the studio with the singing sensation and was extremely flattered that she wanted him to sing on her track.
He also revealed that working with the My Heart Will Go On star made him so nervous that he began to doubt his abilities as a singer.
Speaking to Digital Spy Ne-Yo said: "The first time I worked for her I wrote a song for her, which in itself was surreal.
"This time around I actually did a duet with her - it's her and me on one song, which was a challenge to say the least! I was trying to figure what I was even doing there - why would they need my voice when they have hers?
"She wanted to do the song as a duet and I was flattered, but it definitely made me question my vocal ability."
Ne-Yo has also worked with several other high-profile stars and recently admitted he was delighted some of his songs appear to have made the cut for Beyonce's forthcoming new album.
He said: "I saw that Beyoncé's tracklisting just leaked and I've got a couple of joints on there, which is good news. I'm very happy about that."
