Television presenter Graham Norton has admitted that he was "very wrong" to think that people would like 'Totally Saturday'.
According to Digital Spy, the presenter said of the show: "If it was easy to make a hit Saturday night show, there would be loads of them. They are really, really hard to make."
"We all take the blame [for 'Totally Saturday'] - me, the controller of BBC One who commissioned it, the production team - because we all took a punt on it and thought people would like it. We were wrong! Very, very wrong! People didn't."
"You just have to dust yourself off and you can't let it put you off trying again."
"You can pilot until the cows come home, but at some point you have to put the thing on television and see what people think of it. As it happens, 'not much', was the public's reply."
