Graham Norton - poor audiences for show

It has been reported that Graham Norton’s BBC One show 'Totally Saturday' has been axed after failing to attract good audiences.

The Sun claims that BBC bosses are axing the show after it attracted just 2.5 million viewers this week and was beaten in the ratings by a repeat on ITV of Stephen Mulhern’s 'Animals Do The Funniest Things'.

The show, which will run for a further two weeks, sees members of audience have their belongings borrowed and put on stage.

Despite having musical guests such at Lionel Richie and The Saturdays the programme has failed to find an audience.

It is also reported that 46-year-old Norton is unhappy with the show which last week was criticised by the BBC’s Jonathan Ross and Chris Moyles. Moyles called it "appalling television", while Ross added: "Poor Graham, I feel for him watching that show."
