According to the Hollywood Reporter, Irish writer Cecelia Ahern is working on an ABC television comedy that has the working title of 'The Memory Trace'.
It reportedly focuses on a young female psychiatrist who develops amnesia and has to start her life and relationships over again.
Hilary Swank is currently starring in the film of Ahern's first book, international bestseller 'PS, I Love You'.
Her other published novels include 'Where Rainbows End', 'If You Could See Me Now' and 'A Place Called Here'.
Ahern, who is collaborating with American producer Don Todd on the script, said: "I'm absolutely thrilled to be a part of this exciting project."
