This week at Home Farm, desperate times call for desperate measures for Rhona, while Cameron faces the horror of moving Alex's body.
Rhona’s heart sinks when she fails to persuade Dr Abbott to prescribe her more of the stronger drugs she craves. Later, shaking and nauseous she snaps at Leo before dumping him on Laurel saying she is not safe to be with him feigning a sickness bug. Climbing the walls, Rhona is overwhelmed by her symptoms and worried she will not be able to cover them when Paddy and Vanessa return. Finally she succumbs, taking drastic action, but will she be caught in the act?
Elsewhere, Ali and Sam bicker about the living arrangements and it all seems too much for Samson. Later, Lisa discovers Samson has snuck in at the Dingle’s, he says he just wants to come home. When Sam and Rachel are brought into the loop, it is clear something has got to give. When it seems that there is no workable solution, Lisa suggests they move back to the Dingle’s, Rachel and Archie too. With Samson beaming at the idea, they agree. Rachel braces herself for a fallout, this will not go down well with Jai...
Also, acting furtively Cameron heads to the site where after idle chat with the foreman he waits for the right time. When the coast is clear Cameron sets about digging a new grave and begins the grim task of dragging Alex’s decayed remains over to it’s new resting place.
Meanwhile, Jai is seething to discover that Rachel is moving her and Archie into the Dingle’s in order to make way for her sister and co. In front of an audience Jai confronts her, hiding behind the lie that Rishi is Archie’s father, ultimately accusing her of ripping him off. At their next encounter, it is Rachel’s turn to make loaded but concealed comments.
Later in the week, Nicola has pinned her hopes on Angelica’s ballet skills for her scholarship but with less than 24 hours until her entrance exam it is looking a little unrealistic. Nicola is given fresh hope when Steve steps in to help out with the logistics. Could Nicola have a new ally? But what are Steve’s motives?
