This week on The Square, David encourages Ian to tell the truth, while Max and Phil prepare to get their revenge.
With Peter injured after last week's beating, Ian is determined to stick to his story that a gang of kids are to blame. However, David can tell that something is not right and that it's probably linked to Ian giving evidence in Max's trial. David tries to guilt-trip Ian into coming clean about Carl's involvement in Max's arrest, but Ian continues to keep his mouth shut.
Elsewhere, Carol is getting bored with the commotion of having Terry and his kids in the house. Noticing this, Masood makes Carol an offer to move in with him, but she is unsure. Later, Carol tries to control her emotions when she visits Max in prison, and he tries to convince Carol to take Masood up on his offer. Masood is delighted when Carol later turns up on his doorstep and accepts his offer to move in, putting his worries about David to one side.
Meanwhile, it's the day of Max's trial. David tries to reason with Ian one last time, but Ian is adamant that he needs to lie in order to protect his family from Carl. Shortly afterwards, Carl arrives to see Ian and insists that they are going to share a taxi to court later. However, when Ian doesn't show up for their taxi, Carl begins to get angry.
Later in the week, Max and Phil are going to kill Ian and he pleads for his life. Max and Phil reveal they are not going to kill him as they promised David they wouldn't - but they need a favour as it is now revenge time for Carl.
