Fiona wore her heart on her sleeve this week

It was extra hot and spicy in Raw this weekend, as Jojo locked lips with Philip, Fiona missed a shift to spend some quality time with Ed, while Kate has some flirty banter with the attractive new barman.

Kate continued to be overwhelmed by Shane's baby talk this week, and entering a fertility monitor into the equation didn't exactly help the situation. There's no denying that Shane would be an ideal father figure (he was so good babysitting Ethan), but he needs to stop pressurising Kate into starting a family.

As expected, his pushiness and planning sent Kate right into the arms of the handsome new barman, who just happens to understand her lack of direction in life. There is only one way that this storyline is heading, and it looks like poor Shane will be left heartbroken once again. I reckon Selena may throw a spanner in the works and go after Chris to try and make Geoff jealous. Only time will tell!

Jojo continued to spiral out of control this week, finding herself in a dark place. With her mum treating her like a child, Geoff losing complete respect for his sous chef and the local bar owner confronting her about her rowdy drunken brawl, it seems like Jojo has reached an all-time low.

Dan the man continued to meddle in his daughter's relationship, and I am starting to find his behaviour a bit draining (this is not the Notebook Dan!). Hopefully we will discover why he is back in Dublin, and why he is so hostile to Ed in the next episode. There is only so much of the power wielding possessive father storyline I can stomach.

Speaking of parental figures, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the scary 'landlord' figure that lurked around dark alleyways after Philip is his father. I can only assume that Philip is running away from his abusive dad. He looked quite traumatised when he was forced to sit with his dad in the car. This could make for a good storyline. It would be interesting to see how the theme of domestic abuse is dealt with.

Next week: Jojo looks mortified when she realises that she had a fling with Philip, Selena continues to weasel her way in to Geoff's workplace (and by the looks of it she is pretty successful), while a job opportunity arises for Philip.
