Peggy survives fire, prepares for exit

She will feature in a special extended episode tonight on RTÉ One between 8pm and 8.40pm. There will then be a special BBC One programme entitled 'Peggy Mitchell - Queen of The Vic' which will look back at her 16 years on the soap as the matriarch of the Mitchell clan.
Last night after running back into the burning Vic, Peggy eventually emerged followed by Billy dragging drug-addled Phil (Steve McFadden) with him. Phil had started the fire after a heated exchange with Peggy where he accused her of caring more about the pub than him.
Ryan (Neil McDermott) later rescued Stacey (Lacey Turner) from the flames after which she revealed to the newly-wed that he is in fact Lily's father.
The show closed with Peggy watching as the pub continue to go up in flames shouting "Let it burn" and tonight we will see her quit Albert Square for good.
