Cain feels guilty for not doing more to help Ryan and starts to work on Maisie in an attempt to make her see that Nathan was the real murderer. Going through some photos on her mobile, she spots a shot of Ryan wearing the gold chain which was found near Mark's body.

Natasha struggles to remain calm as Maisie shows her the phone video and wonders whether to go to the police. At the café, Nathan smoothly tells Maisie that he'll go with her to the police station.

However, Nathan quickly moves to resolve the crisis by stealing Maisie's phone when she goes to the toilet. Will Nathan really destroy the evidence and will Maisie realise the full extent of her brother's evil side?

Meanwhile, Holly goes missing after a row with Roz and John blames himself, while Eve enjoys a girls' night in at Mill Cottage with Chas, Charity and Scarlett. After everyone leaves and Chas goes to bed, Carl bids Eve goodnight. The sexual tension crackles and unable to hold back any longer, Carl grabs her as she goes and they passionately kiss!

Meanwhile, as Adam grows increasingly agitated by his mom's illness, Sean's Hallowe'en plans lead him to suspect that Marlene's ghost is haunting his house.

In tonight's episode, TV vet Steve Leonard who presents the show is pushed to his limits when he's left in charge of 16 vet students and a hall of 100 barking dogs while Cambridge student Nadia gets a second chance at being a team leader.
