Perry set to release fragrance

The scent will be released this autumn exclusively in Nordstrom stores and online at the shop's website, reports WWD.
The perfume will contain notes of apple, jasmine blossom and freesia and will come in a cat-shaped bottle with jewelled eyes.
Perry said that she was excited to tell the news to her fans, but wanted to wait until the project was completed.
"I kept wanting to tell someone!" she said. "It wasn't just like, 'I love gardenias'. That would have been the easy route. I really wanted to develop a scent that was completely unlike anything I'd smelled before and not one that smelled like a knockoff of another scent."
The singer added: "All things edible for me are also intriguing. So if there are little dancing strawberries, I will be happy. Peppermint is cute; cotton candy is adorable. We like to keep it cute and classy."
