Cowell wants to look his best.

The 50-year-old music mogul wants to look his best when he ties the knot with make-up artist Mezhgan Hussainy, 36, and is embarking on an exercise and beauty regime in order to look "youthful" on his big day.

Star magazine quotes a source as saying: "Simon has booked in for the works. He's getting everything done so he can do Mezhgan proud on the big day.

"He's spending a fortune on Botox and fillers to try to keep a youthful look, and he's going back to the dentist in LA to get costly teeth enhancements.

"The way Simon sees it is that if he's gone through all these treatments in the past for a TV show, he can certainly do it for his wedding day.

"As the ceremony nears, he'll have weekly microdermabrasion facials, which will give his skin a healthy glow. He's been promised that it will knock at least five years off him.

"And he wants a body to match, so he's hired one of the top personal fitness trainers in the UK and Los Angeles to help him tone up and work out."

Despite his plans, Mezghan is said to be trying to talk her fiancé out of his extreme make-over plans, but he is refusing to listen.

The source added to Britain's Star magazine: "Mezhgan thinks Simon looks great the way he is and doesn't want him wasting his time getting all the treatments - but there's no talking to him.

"He keeps saying he's dating a woman 14 years younger than him, so he needs to keep on his toes and look the part."

Must Watch TV

  • - House

    10.00pm Sky 1

Can you believe it? It's the last ever episode of House. Eight seasons of medical conundrums, acerbic wit, questionable managerial style, drug addictions, psychiatric help, ill-fated romances, plus a prison sentence to boot, resulted in Dr Gregory House becoming one of TV's most memorable characters. The role nabbed Hugh Laurie a brace of Golden Globes plus a slate of Emmy nominations, catapulting the former Blackadder star to meteoric fame. At its peak, House was watched by 81.8 million people in 66 countries. Fittingly titled 'Everybody Dies' to bookend the 2004 pilot 'Everybody Lies', this emotional final prescription sees House examine his life and personal demons as he treats a drug-addicted patient (guest star James LeGros). Plus, former stars Jennifer Morrison, Olivia Wilde and Amber Tamblyn return; as does Kal Penn, who resumes his role as Kutner, the man who took his own life in Season Five. Dr Greg, we salute you!

Meanwhile, art critic, Cristín Leach Hughes, and art enthusiast, TV producer Bill Hughes, discuss the original long-list of 100 paintings with Mike Murphy.

What does the big bad world have in store for Rachel, Finn, Santana, Kurt, Puck, Quinn, Mercedes and Mike? And how will the glee club kids left behind cope without their friends? With Rachel still hoping to make her New York dreams come true and maybe a wedding or two on the cards, there's lots to look forward to in this final fix.
