Actor Gleeson to attend Gala fundraiser
Monday 1 February 2010The event, which is due to take place on 6 March at The Helix in Dublin, will see some of Ireland's finest talent coming together for the worthy cause.
The night, which has been organised by friends of the hospice, hopes to raise much-needed funds to assist with the running of the hospice. A new hospice is also being built at Blanchardstown.
Performing on the night are Virginia Kerr, Liam Lawton, Rebecca Storm, Sean Hession, Noirinn Ní Riain and A.M.E.N. Size2shoes, Fionnula Gill, Mount Sackville Choir, Dublin Airport Singers, Irish Ballet School and Moore School of Performing Arts.
RTÉ broadcaster Ronan Collins is due to host the evening.
Speaking about the event, Rebecca Storm said: "I think this will be a great event and, hopefully, will be a big help for the new hospice".
Liam Lawton said: "I am delighted to be involved in anything that will help the cause."
The 'Celebration of Life' Gala Variety Performance will take place at The Helix on Saturday, 6 March 2010. Tickets, priced at €50, are available at the Helix box office by phoning 01 7007000.
