Durng a special pre-record of 'The Late Late Show', due to be aired on December 27, Walsh said that Tubridy's interview and the subsequent editing did not paint the Lucan twins, John and Edward Grimes, in the best of light.

Walsh said: "You gave them a hard time on the Toy Show - and their mother Susanna wasn't happy."

However, Tubridy denied the accusation saying both the twins and their mother were "lovely".

Walsh didn't leave it at that however, sayng: "They're really nice kids... but they were edited to look like they were not nice."

The Late Late special, due to air on December 27, features a star-studded line-up.
