The glamour model had said she would not take part in today's bushtucker trial after she was nominated to face yet another test on the show.

She was picked alongside former boxer Joe Bugner for the Bad Pit trial, but said: "Someone else has to do it. I'm just not doing it anymore."

A message on ITV.com read: "Katie Price has left the jungle."

Yesterday Price successfully completed another bushtucker trial picking up eleven out of twelve starts.

Commenting on her selection for that task she said: "I suppose you get into a routine and the routine is I go out to work to bring back the food and you just have your daily routine. I'm the breadwinner."

The challenge saw her driving a car around a course stopping four times to fight through gunge, eat bugs, and conquer her fear of spiders to win 11 stars out of a possible 12.

Asked why she thought she was being picked, she said: "Either they love me or they hate me. No idea. I've always got lovers and haters but my family and friends they probably love it because they get to see more of me but I'm telling them now I'm not loving it."
