Dannii says Jedward win would be a 'disaster'

According to The Mirror, Minogue said: "It would be a disaster for 'The X Factor' and Simon Cowell if Jedward won."

"Simon has to give a £1 million recording contract to the winner. How can he give it to John & Edward when they're not singers?"
"They're entertainers. I wouldn't quit if they won but it would make me question the show's validity. I worry what would happen."
"After Leona Lewis won, the programme turned a corner and became a genuine singing contest, discovering genuine talent."
She said: "If the twins were to win then I would worry that it would go back to the old days, and not be about discovering an amazing act. And that would be sad."

Higgins will unveil the most popular painting, as voted for by the public, in the company of presenter John Kelly. This week on Temple Street Children's Hospital we meet a baby named Mark Sheehan. Mark has been a long-term patient in the hospital's intensive care unit since he was born and has a number of complicated heart and breathing difficulties. In the first few weeks of his life, he had to undergo intensive surgery and his Mum, Dad, twin brother and other siblings based in Cork are all hopeful that one day he will eventually be strong enough to go home. We follow the journey of the medical team as they investigate Mark's complex condition and see the impact that his stay has had on the lives of his parents and extended family.
