She also revealed that after getting the boot on Sunday, Simon Cowell tapped her on the nose and said "chin up babe".
Talking about her shock axe, she said: "I need to get on with my life, I can't mope about. I'm not a negative person. I look for the best in everything."
And Lucie, 18, said she now wants the only remaining girl left in the contest, Stacey Solomon, to go on to win the show, although she thinks Joe McElderry is the most talented contestant.
Meanwhile, she also revealed how she'd turned down a chance to meet Twilight hunk Robert Pattinson.
The heartthrob's sister had invited Lucie to the premiere of Twilight's sequel New Moon but she had to turn it down to sing at a shopping centre in Stockport and switch on the Christmas lights.
