X Factor twins win Cowell's praise

Simon Cowell, who previously claimed he would be first on a plane out of Britain if the twins reigned supreme, hailed their performance of the Hollywood soundtrack.
On a night of movie-themed songs, the pop mogul had angrily reacted after being accused of 'cheating' by allowing Jamie Archer to sing 'Crying' which had only featured in a relatively unknown cult film.
But after watching the twin's performance, Cowell's mood improved.
He told the Grimes: 'It was possibly more entertaining than anything you have done before. Well done.'
Archer, who had been at odds with mentor Cowell over his choice of song, won his battle of wills but judges questioned why he was allowed to sing the song. Cowell revealed it had featured in 'Gummo', an independent cult film written and directed by Harmony Korine in 1997.
Louis Walsh said afterwards: 'I thought it was absolutely great but I think Simon cheated because I have never heard of the movie.'
Stacey Solomon opened the show with a leather-clad rendition of the Dusty Springfield classic 'Son of a Preacher Man', which features in Pulp Fiction.
But while judges agreed she had succeeded in being more 'sexy' than previous weeks, Simon Cowell criticised her choice of song, warning her: 'For the first time in this competition, you're vulnerable.'
Baby-faced favourite Olly Murs performed 'Twist and Shout', which featured in 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off'.
Lloyd Daniels, who had been suffering from a sore throat last week, was battered by criticism from judges in his performance by 'Stand By Me'.
In a damning appraisal of his talents, Louis Walsh told him: 'Lloyd, you're out of your depth.'
Lucy Jones won praise for singing 'This Is Me' from Disney's 'Camp Rock', while Danyl Johnson showed off a new cropped hair style as he performed 'Purple Rain'.
Cheryl Cole said she was impressed with him for losing his cocky manner, adding: 'I really like your demeanour tonight.'
Joe McElderry was last in line, singing 'Circle of Life' from 'Lion King'.
The outcome of the latest round of votes is announced on ITV1 tomorrow.
