The 18-year-old singer, who impressed the judges on Saturday night, can thank her Welsh roots for helping to make her a star.
According to The Daily Mail the 18-year-old, nicknamed 'the Welsh Whitney', shares a voice coach with Charlotte Church.
After her show-stopping audition in Cardiff, Simon Cowell said: "This is why we come to Wales. One of the hardest songs in the world to sing, you didn't try to impersonate Whitney, you sang it your way. You're really likeable Lucie, you're really, really good, I like you."
Louis Walsh said: "Everything's going to change for you from this day on."
Speaking about her TV performance, Jones said: "I'm very excited and it is great. But the 'X Factor' people have told me not to say anything and the same goes for my parents."
The singer, who has won a place at the renowned Italia Conti Stage School in London, added: "I want to thank everybody for their support."
