U2 announce show in Croke Park

The band will play Croke Park on Friday, 24 July.
There are no details at present on when tickets for the Dublin show will go on sale.
U2 will play 'in the round' on the tour, meaning unobstructed views for all members of the audience.

Beginning in Barcelona on Tuesday, 30 June, the tour will visit 14 cities across Europe, including Milan, Gothenburg, Amsterdam, Paris, Nice, Dublin, Chorzow, Berlin, London, Sheffield and Glasgow, with the final date in Cardiff on Saturday, 22 August.
Commenting on the tour, U2 manager Paul McGuinness said: "With 85% of the tickets priced at less than €95, general admission floor tickets priced at €55 and at least 10,000 tickets at every venue priced at around €30, we have worked very hard to ensure that U2 fans can purchase a great priced ticket with a guaranteed great view."
Among the support acts that will join U2 on the tour are: Glasvegas, Elbow, Kaiser Chiefs, Snow Patrol and Black Eyed Peas, with more artists to be announced in the near future.
