Commons move against Brand & Ross

According to the BBC, Foyle MP and Northern Ireland Assembly member Durkan is one of 15 Members of Parliament to have signed a House of Commons motion that sharply criticises Brand and Ross's behaviour.
Durkan said the pair's actions were "base and vulgar" and "crass and crude".
He said: "I also think it was downright insensitive to then make a joke about somebody potentially committing suicide.
"The BBC should have acted decisively, but more importantly these two presenters should have acted decisively themselves.
"Rather than offering half-baked apologies they should have made a clear and straightforward gesture by either renouncing some of their own salary, or offering a very significant donation to relevant charities.
"This could have included charities dealing with the issue of suicide awareness and prevention."
The motion was put forward by Labour MP Andrew Mackinlay and Conservative MP Nigel Evans.
Complaints over the incident are said to have reached 30,000.
