Variety reports that Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky, two of the co-executive producers on the US version of 'The Office', have been hired.

The plan is for the film to reunite the stars of the original 'Ghostbusters' films, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson.

The original 'Ghostbusters' is the third highest grossing film in the history of Columbia Pictures, behind 'Men in Black' and 'Spider-Man'.

The many perspectives come from a cast of characters who tell a very human, tragic story of loss and near loss, of blame and guilt, of suffering and happiness, of reasons and opinions, of cause and effect. We will hear the heart-wrenching and the unbelievable stories of some of the passengers who survived.
