JK Rowling to publish book for charity

'The Tales of Beedle the Bard', which will be published on 4 December, is mentioned in the last 'Harry Potter' book, when it was left to Harry's friend Hermione Granger by Professor Albus Dumbledore, the headmaster of Hogwarts school.
Rowling previously published seven issues of the book, which were bound in Moroccan leather and decorated with silver and moonstones. She gave six of the copies to those closely connected to the Potter series, and the seventh was bought for approximately $4m in an auction by Amazon.
The new editions will be published by Bloomsbury Publishing and Scholastic, while Amazon will produce up to 100,000 collector's editions which will sell for $100. These collector's editions will aim to replicate the look of the original editions.
The proceeds of the book will go to the Children's High Level Group, a charity Rowling founded in 2005 to help the 1m children in Europe still living in large residential institutions.
