Jolie, Pitt help children affected by Iraq war

According to the Education Partnership for Children of Conflict, of which Jolie is a board member, the couple's charity, the Jolie-Pitt Foundation, gave $500,000 (€318,128) to be divided between three separate groups in the war-torn country.
According to CNN, the stars gave another $500,000 (€318,128) to provide aid for the children of military personnel and soldiers in America who have died in the ongoing conflict.
The Iraq money will go towards basic educational supplies for Iraqi schoolchildren and the American money will be put towards hiring tutors and providing counselling for 2,500 American children.
The couple's charity has already given funds to help the survivors of 2005's Hurricane Katrina and towards relief in the war-torn Darfur region of Sudan.
Jolie is also a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations.
