American Idol stars Cook & Caldwell dating

During an interview on the show 'Idol Tonight' last Wednesday, Cook said to Caldwell: "I'm just excited because I finally get to talk to you."
He continued: "I've been hearing you say all these nice things about me all season. So I'm actually going to ask you to dinner right now."
Caldwell hugged him and agreed to go out with him, later saying on camera: "I just got asked out on a date."
Speaking to 'Extra' later, Cook said: "So far, I've had a really good time with her."
Referring to her stint on 'American Idol', he said: "I knew who she was, but I can't remember a song that she sang. I'm probably in the dog house now."
