Doherty released from jail early

According to the BBC, upon leaving the West London prison, the former Libertines star told reporters that he was glad to be out, and said he was looking forward to drinking a rum and coke and spending time with his cats.
He received a suspended sentence in October for driving while uninsured and in possession of crack cocaine, heroin, ketamine and cannabis.
Doherty was then sent to jail in April after missing appointments with his probation officers.
As he left the jail he showed the media a certificate confirming that he had passed a drugs test while serving his sentence.
When asked if he had taken drugs in jail, he replied: "Well, I knew it was going to be a bit rough to start with, with the overcrowding and the medical facilities."
"Although they do their best - they are good, they can't really cater for the average junkie."
The musician also described life in prison as having "a lot of gangsters" before borrowing a reporter's phone to arrange a lift.
The singer would have missed his scheduled appearance at Glastonbury Music Festival had he served his full sentence.
