Nicole Richie talks about motherhood

Richie made the comment while attending the Annual ASCAP Pop Music Awards in Los Angeles with her father Lionel Richie, who was receiving the Lifetime Achievement award.
Speaking about life since the birth of her daughter Harlow in January, Richie told Extra: "It's definitely like nothing I could have imagined."
She said that being a mother is "beyond amazing, and my family has been supportive. And I go to my dad's house all the time."
"He actually babysat the other day - him and Joel [Madden, Nicole's finacé] - and they were amazing. I mean, she slept the whole time."
Lionel Richie added: "It's when the baby wakes up that I freak out."
