Rhys Meyers claims his drinking days are over

'The Tudors' star features in the new issue of men's magazine Details where he insists his drinking days are over.
The 30-year-old, who entered rehab to battle his alcoholism earlier this year, told the magazine that he was winning his battle.
He said: "I didn't drink until I was 25, and I never drank every day, but when I did, it was bad. It would be a couple of days that just wouldn't work out for me, waking up with a hangover. Drink doesn't fit into the groove of where my life is going."
In another recent interview with Complex magazine, the actor admitted not drinking is "difficult". He said: "I'm 30 years old and Irish."
Rhys Meyers was arrested in Dublin Airport on Sunday afternoon.
He was charged with being drunk and a breach of the peace and was released on cash bail.
The 30-year-old is due to appear before Dublin District Court next month.
A spokesperson for Dublin Airport said there had been an incident at the airport, with a passenger refused access to a flight and escorted from "airside" back through security to the main airport.
Meyers was in Dublin to promote his new movie August Rush, which opens on Friday.
