Release of Clooney film is delayed

Variety reports that the film was due out in America on 7 December but will now be released on 4 April 2008.
The extra time is to give Clooney, who recently broke a rib in a motorcycle accident, the opportunity to include additional footage and honour previous commitments.
'Leatherheads' is set during the early years of American Football in the 1920s and also stars Renée Zellweger.
Clooney can currently be seen on Irish cinema screens in 'Michael Clayton'.
