Sting & wife ordered to pay former chef

Jane Martin won her case against the couple after claiming she was sacked by Trudie Styler, the Police frontman's wife, because she became pregnant.
But the Lake House Estate, which was the named party in the case, has already won the right to appeal against the ruling and compensation amount.
Miss Martin, 41, was employed by the couple for eight years as a chef on a salary of €41,000, cooking for stars such as Madonna and Elton John with no expense spared and on a budget of hundreds of thousands of pounds.
On one occasion she reportedly travelled from the family's 300-acre estate in Wiltshire to London to cook pasta for Sting and Styler's children.
A spokesman for Styler said the financial award was "virtually meaningless" because the case was already subject to an appeal.
