Morrison, George honoured at ceremony in LA

Al Pacino presented Morrison with his award at the second annual Oscar Wilde: Honouring Irish Writing in Film event, hosted by the US-Ireland Alliance.
His songs have been included in more than fifty films including 'The Departed', 'Breakfast on Pluto', 'The Royal Tenenbaums' and 'Bridget Jones's Diary'.
Terry George, the writer and director of 'Hotel Rwanda' and 'Some Mother's Son', was presented with his award by Irish actress Fionnula Flanagan
Boston Irish scriptwriter William Monahan, who has been nominated for the Best Adapted Screenplay Oscar for 'The Departed', also received an award.
Attending the ceremony last night were were Orlando Bloom, Charlize Theron, Stuart Townsend, Andie McDowell, Cecelia Ahern and Colm Meaney

A troubled woman is brought into the ED after being hit by a lorry and Lloyd is quick to jump to conclusions about the driver. Meanwhile Linda has a chance to examine her feelings when Lenny tackles her about putting her niece and nephew into care.
