Louisa Lytton set to leave EastEnders
Monday 10 July 2006The actress, who plays Ruby Allen in the soap, has said that she would like to work on some new projects.
Lytton said: "I've really enjoyed my time at 'EastEnders'. It's been a great experience which I will never forget, but I am now looking forward to trying new things."
Executive producer Kate Harwood said: "Louisa has been a popular cast member at 'EastEnders', winning a Soap Award as Sexiest Female and a legion of fans. We are currently planning a dramatic exit for her character and we wish her the best of luck for the future."

BBC Two - Roger and Val Have Just Got In
Roger lies almost mute in bed in the spare room, as the bittersweet comedy starring Dawn French and Alfred Molina continues. Val tries hard to reach him, but slowly it dawns that there's more to this crisis than the recent news about his father. Roger reveals that, while alone in the house, he's taken up his grief counselling advice and written out an idealised self-image. Unfortunately, he's mistakenly emailed the whole personal, heartfelt outpouring to the entire management team at his work. Hugely embarrassed, both he and Val try to salvage the situation - but will that just make matters worse? And for the first time in the series, somebody leaves the house.

Catherine Fulvio begins her new search for culinary inspiration in Rome's Jewish area, where she finds a hidden gem of a restaurant and learns how the city's Jewish community has influenced Roman food. Catherine meets the first of her Roman home cooks, Rosaria, who shows her a salted cod dish, cooks a hearty lamb casserole, some delicious bruschetta and makes a stunningly simple and delicious peach and amaretti dessert.

A Thaisce 's a Stór / For Love and Money is a bizarre comedy starring Milo O'Shea and Maureen Toal as young office workers whose engagement looks doomed unless he cleans up his savings account.
