Jessica Simpson says she visited therapist
Wednesday 2 November 2005Simpson made the comments during an interview with Teen People magazine. When asked if she had sought the help of a therapist, Simpson said: "Yes I have".
"I respect knowledge of the psyche. I would be a therapist if I weren't an entertainer," she said.
The singer and actress said that she also writes in her personal diary as a way of dealing with the pressures of her industry and constant rumours about her marriage to Nick Lachey.
"It's a way for me to know myself, my problems and my issues. If I don't do this, I'll push everything back until I explode," she said.
Speaking about her husband, Simpson said: "Hopefully mine and Nick's story will continue for the rest of our lives, like what we vowed, through sickness and in health."
