New Bond film details are revealed
Wednesday 26 October 2005Speaking to USA Today about the film, Campbell said: "We're going toward a much more realistic Bond, much more 'From Russia with Love' than we've had in the past."
Based on Ian Fleming's first Bond book, 'Casino Royale' will explore the origins of 007, with Bond (Daniel Craig) set to fall for a female agent called Vesper Lynd.
"She's the one who forges him into the Bond that we all know and love," said Campbell. "He certainly falls in love with her, and it does change him forever. It's a genuinely deeper relationship. The film deals much more on a personal level with Bond."
The film begins shooting in January; an actress has yet to be cast as Lynd.
Campbell's latest film, 'The Legend of Zorro', is currently showing in cinemas.
