Jamelia becomes charity ambassador

The 24-year-old star is expecting a baby with footballer Darren Byfield. She already has a four-year-old daughter called Teja.
Speaking about her charity work, Jamelia said: " I am so proud to be supporting Tommy's on this project. The research the charity does into preventing premature births, stillbirths and miscarriage is invaluable."
"Luckily for me I haven't had problems through either of my pregnancies and I am fortunate enough to have a healthy little girl already who I love to bits."
The singer also said: "I can't imagine what it must be like to face heartbreaking difficulties through pregnancy which can result in losing your baby. That's why I think Tommy's research is so important."
