Moss & Doherty most wanted UK party couple

Model Kate Moss and troubled rock star Pete Doherty have become the most sought-after couple on Britain's party circuit.

The pair have beat last year's hottest couple, Jude Law and Sienna Miller, to head the list.

Doherty's spells in prison and his reputation as a recovering drug addict have done nothing to dent the unlikely couple's popularity with Britain's party elite.

The Most Invited list, compiled for August's issue of Tatler magazine, cements the pair's reputation as Britain's glamorous couple.

The pair, who both have children from different partners, recently appeared together at Glastonbury and are rumoured to be marrying this summer.

The former Libertines star, whose performance at Live 8 was criticised as shambolic, has had brushes with the law for burgling the flat of his ex-Libertines bandmate and possessing a flick knife.

Other names to hit Tatler's top 20 include Bob Geldof's daughter Peaches, who is in third place after Ben and Kate Goldsmith, the owners of Drone's Club in London's Mayfair.

The Rolling Stones rocker Mick Jagger and his girlfriend L'Wren Scott come in at sixth place, followed by Love Actually star Hugh Grant and his girlfriend Jemima Khan.
