U2 take three at the Grammy Awards

U2 were among the winners at the Grammy Awards in the US last night, with their song 'Vertigo' winning in three categories.

The band took the awards for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal and Best Rock Song for the track.

The promo video for 'Vertigo' was also named Best Short Form Music Video.

There was further success for U2 at the weekend when their new single, 'Sometimes You Can't Make It on Your Own', entered the UK singles chart at Number One.

The track entered the Irish singles chart at Number Three.

    Another case of a great show at an awful time - and it's a terrible shame because 30 Rock has probably been the smartest as well as the funniest network American sitcom since the glory days of Seinfeld. Tonight, Liz returns from holiday break with a new outlook that leaves her immune to Tracy's acting out over Jenna's new fame as a judge on the reality show America's Kidz Got Singing. Meanwhile, Kenneth prepares for the Rapture.

  • - Franc's DIY Brides

    8.30pm, RTÉ One

    With a budget of €10K, and 160 guests invited to their very special day, Franc is on hand to mentor Dublin couple Gemma Barnes and Gary Mackle as they endeavour to create their winter wonderland-themed wedding in Wexford. A wedding dress has to be found, and a ring needs to be re-worked all in an attempt to create a unique and cost effective 'wow' wedding. And Gemma and Gary head for Camp Franc to find out just how they can make their day perfect.

  • - Golf: PGA Championship

    2.30pm, BBC TWO

    Golf is one sport that looks amazing on TV, so here's another treat for couch potatoes. Hazel Irvine presents live coverage of the fourth and final round at Wentworth. Last year's final day culminated in a dramatic play-off between Luke Donald and Lee Westwood, and it was the former who emerged victorious to take the world number one spot off his compatriot. With so many Europeans dominating the top of the World rankings, viewers can expect a tight contest (and maybe an Irish win).
